 Poem on Teacher

Oh teachers, dear teachers, how much you inspired,

Your hard work and dedication, always admired,

You taught us lessons both in life and in books,

And raised us up to become shining little crooks.

We came to you full of childish wonder,

But you never let our minds go asunder,

You taught us to aim high and dream big,

And inspired us to face every difficult gig.

Your words were like honey in our ears,

Your care and love erased all our fears,

You instilled in us values and discipline,

Your teachings went beyond class and curriculum.

We cherish all the moments spent in your class,

And all the knowledge you shared with much grace,

You moulded us into the people we are today,

With hearts overflowing with gratitude all the way.

So thank you dear teachers, for all that you do,

For shaping our minds and our hearts too,

We respect and honour you from the bottom of our heart,

And will never forget the lessons learnt from the start.

Full story of Rabbit and a Tortoise

Once upon a time, there were a rabbit and a turtle. They were good friends. They used to meet and play every day. The rabbit always boasted that he could run faster than the turtle. So they decided to have a race. They chose the starting and finishing points. The rabbit runs really fast and soon leaves the turtle far behind. He thought that the turtle was too slow, and he could rest a while. So he stooped under the tree and went to sleep. Meanwhile, the turtle kept walking the whole time and reached the winning point. When the rabbit woke up, he saw that the turtle had already won the race. Moral story: slow and steady wins the race. Now, next time, Rabbit and the tortoise had another race; this time, Rabbit remembered his mistake and ran faster, winning the race. Moral story: we should learn from our mistakes. Now, they both get motivated and decide to have a race, but in different directions. Rabbit started running fast, but in the middle he stopped because of a river...
